Stories

A few years ago, I began telling my children stories before sleep.  At the time, they all slept in one huge room, and with them tucked in and lights out, the only thing to do was for my sleepy brain to come up with whatever bizarre twists to life I could muck up.  Amazingly, I have a talent for bizarre strange things.  Now the kids don't sleep in the same room, but the older ones usually find their way in during story time.  They have been henpecking me to write some of their favorites down and since I have been thinking about sending one with my son when he goes camping this weekend, I thought blogging might be the easiest way.  Oh, my children always play the main characters in the story, though sometimes they are not human, once they were fleas.  Sometimes, the setting is in pretend world's I have created.  As always, enjoy!
